Gorman Heritage Farm School-based Programs: Request for assistance with field trip tuition

This form is for a school teacher or administrator to apply for financial assistance to receive an education program from Gorman Heritage Farm at no charge. By submitting this form you are applying for a scholarship. This scholarship covers our program fees, but please let us know on this form if you also need assistance with transportation. Please understand our scholarship funds are limited, so not every school submitting this form will be awarded a scholarship. Our education committee votes on scholarship awardees, and the decision is based on a variety of factors including: percentage of students at the school eligible for free/reduced lunch, school or classroom focus on developing agricultural and nutrition literacy, and the length of time a school has been waiting for a scholarship to attend our programs. Receiving a scholarship in one year does not guarantee a scholarship in following years.

The application window to receive a Fall 2025 scholarship is 8/16/24 - 2/14/25

The application window to receive a Spring 2026 scholarship is 2/15/25 - 8/15/25

Gorman Heritage Farm requires 1 chaperone for every 10 students, but 2 chaperones for every 10 students is preferred. These may include teachers and paraprofessionals.
