This rescue has several important policies that we feel are to benefit the lives of our adoptable pets. It is one of our goals that no animal is the only animal in the home. There are exceptions to this. We know that some animals are best being the only animal in the home, in that case we will place a single pet. This rescue also knows some homes only wish to have one pet, in some situations this rescue can accommodate. We have spent time with our adoptable pets, so we know who they are, and if they will match you. Kittens will be adopted in pairs, with a slight exception to this, you already have a young one at home. (Please refer back to the Succession Plan question; for our adopting kittens policy) We have bonded younger and older matches that we don't want to break apart. We feel this is best for the life of the adoptable pet.
We do what we feel is best for the adoptable pet. We stand by our policies. We also realize other rescues may not have the same policies, and that is them. If you choose to adopt elsewhere we thank you for your consideration, and we thank you for adopting period.
A word about our fosters. Fosters play an important part in the rescue world. The majority of rescues do not have actual shelters we call on fosters to hold and help these adoptable pets prepare for their forever homes. If it wasn't for our fosters we would be more limited to the number of the ones we can help. If this is something you would like or consider please reach out however please be aware they will be leaving the home once a forever home is found.
