• Act II Players Audition Registration

  • Calling all actors! 

    New to the stage? Some experience? Seasoned veteran? We want you all. 

    We are looking for all actors from the ages of 6 to 18 to perform in our upcoming Act II Players Spring EXtravaganza! 

    We are looking for actors, singers, and dancers galore! 

    Ensemble numbers, solo acts, duets, and trios will be included. 

    Auditions:

                Saturday, February 24, 1:00 p.m.

                Sunday, February 25, 2:00 p.m.

    Audition Location: Almost Home Daybreak, 3604 Cardinal Point Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32257

    Please prepare 16 bars of a song from any musical and be prepared to cold read. 

    Performances will be April 6th-7th.

    The Act II Players Education Department is open to all levels of reading ability, experience, and even shyness. 

    Tori Tompkins, Education Chair for ACT II Players, has 18 years of experience as a teacher (specialty in Reading with a M.Ed.) and has directed numerous children’s workshops and events. She loves bringing the love of acting out of those new to the stage and helping those with experience to grow.

    This promises to be a spectacular event and we hope to see you all there!

    • *I understand that it is the actor’s responsibility to know and understand the plot, story line and character as written and directed and agree to adhere to the integrity of the play without modifications or exclusions.  It is also understood that “Actor” will commit to all rehearsals scheduled, unless prior approval is granted not to exceed two missed rehearsals.  I hold harmless Act II Players, its officers, directors, fellow actors and volunteers and all venue locations as defined as a “Release of Liability.”  I agree for this form to also serve as my Photo, Video and Sound Release, to be used for all promotional purposes.  Cell phone use and texting are not permitted in rehearsals or backstage unless approved by Director/s for specific purposes or emergencies.
