Blue Ridge Mountain EMC Member Notice of Intent to Attend a Board Meeting

In accordance with the policies of Blue Ridge Mountain Electric Membership Corporation, I hereby submit my request to attend the next regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative.

I certify that I am a current Member (or Joint Member) of the Cooperative as defined in Article I of the By-laws of the Blue Ridge Mountain Electric Membership Corporation, in good standing, and that my Member account found in the Cooperative's records is as follows:

In submitting this notice, I recognize that my attendance at the meeting is subject to the following provisions:

1.That I must submit this Member Notice of Intent to Attend a Board Meeting and it must be received by the Cooperative at least forty eight (48) hours prior to the Board meeting, and that this request may either be approved or denied by the Board of Directors, or its designee, and that I will be notified of this approval or denial prior to the requested meeting;

2.That I am an observer of the Board Meeting only, and must abide in good faith by usual and customary rules of decorum for professional meetings, and that I may be removed from the meeting for non compliance;

3.That I will not be provided written information or electronic communications provided to or shared among the Board of Directors whether in-person at the meeting, by mail or electronically, unless expressly authorized by the Board of Directors on a case-by-case basis;

4.That I may not utilize any electronic devices to record, stream, or video, for current or future use, any Board meeting proceedings unless expressly authorized by the Board of Directors at the beginning of each meeting;

5.That I may observe proceedings not otherwise considered privileged, confidential or of a personal nature, and that I have no right to observe Executive Session proceedings;

6.That the Board of Directors reserves the right to determine the number of Members allowed at any meeting, giving consideration to available space, issues of safety and security, or other issues deemed critical to the safe and effective execution of the Board Meeting) and that I may be denied access to the meeting even after submitting this notice. I further recognize that the decision of the Board of Directors to allow or deny attendance for any reason is final.
