Stray Pet Diversion Admission
Thank you for participating in the diversion program!

The diversion program is a life saving program to reduce the risk of euthanasia while networking the pet in your care to locate the owner, adopter, rescue, or foster before coming to the shelter.

ACS will be placing the pets picture and information online at www.saacs.net.
- Please complete the form (up to 7 pets) in its entirety for a stray pet(s) found for admittance into The San Antonio Animal Care Services Diversion Program.
- Before you begin: We recommend gathering good, clear pictures, genders, and ages of all pets prior to completing this form or the form will not be accepted.
If you encounter across any issues regarding the completion of this form or have more than 7 pets please email ACSintake@sanantono.gov.

ACS reserves the right to dispatch an animal care officer to retrieve the pet if communication is lost and an owner has come forward. *
This service is only available to citizens who reside inside San Antonio City Limits to admit stray pet(s) to San Antonio Animal Care Services.*
Any medical or grooming services you provide are not able to be reimbursed by the owner or ACS. *
Inquiries ACS receives regarding adoption, foster, or rescue placement will be sent, by email, to you. *
Meet and greets are recommended to be arranged at the ACS facility during the following hours (M-F 1apm — 6:00 pm and Sat/Sun 11am— 4:00 pm). *
