Talent Show Expectations and Information:
The auditions are “closed” auditions, meaning that an application is necessary to be on the audition list. Youth on the audition list will be notified of what date and time they will audition at least one week prior to that date.
Auditions will be held on January 21,22, and 23 from 6 pm until 9 pm at Franklin Community High School, Performing Arts Center
The talent show is February 7th, 2020 at 6 pm at Franklin Community High School Auditorium
There is a $20 NONREFUNDABLE entry fee per act. This payment should be made by credit card upon submitting this form.
Auditioning is not a guarantee to be in the Talent Show; unfortunately, due to time
restraints, some acts may not make it into the Talent Show. You will be notified if you will
perform at the show after all auditions are completed.
It is an expectation that parents/guardians will pick their child up promptly after their
audition. Parents are only allowed to accompany children age 8 and under during the
actual audition. Other parents are welcome to come to auditions, but will not be allowed
into the room while their child or other children are performing.
A rehearsal will be required the week of the Talent Show
Tickets to the show will be $10. Each ACT will be provided with 2 complimentary tickets. All other tickets must be purchased.
Costumes need to be appropriate (no inappropriate text on clothing, etc.) If you have a question, please let us know.
If using music in your act, music also needs to be youth-appropriate (no references to drugs, weapons, violence, sex, illegal activity, etc.) Music must be provided.
As a guideline, audition acts should be no longer than 90 seconds. Final show acts should be no longer than 180 seconds
*Application and payment must be submitted prior to January 10, 2020
