Requirements for Installation:
You have enough art to fill the main areas of the café with reasonable and aesthetic spaces between pieces: Wall space is:
Wall 1 – inside front door: 31”
Wall 2 – Long North Wall above bench: 183”
Wall 3 – North wall between bench and couch: 61”
Wall 4 – North Wall above Couch: 84”
Wall 5 -- East Wall above couch area : 38”
Wall 6 – North wall far back: 79”
Wall 7 – East wall far back: 35”
Wall 8 – South wall left of bathrooms: 77’
Wall 9 – South wall right of bathroom: 69”
Optional Wall Space:
Wall 10 – South wall between bathroom in the alcove: 40”
Wall 11 – North wall inside front door: 31”
Wall 12 – Left of coffee station at the front of the house: 17”
You are willing to have your art up for 3 months and will be assigned one of these blocks:There are four blocks of time for shows:
FALL (September - December )
WINTER (December - March )
SPRING (March - June )
SUMMER (June - September )
You understand that all art stays on the wall until the end of the show. All sales will take place at the end of the show.
You understand that there is no commission paid to the Elm owners and that this is a café and not a gallery. In this way, you manage all your own sales and the café owners direct all interested and curious buyers to your guest book and your business cards. All communication about sales, money transactions, interest will be directed to you through email, phone, text or your guest book. All financial transactions happen outside the café or at least, without asking the owners to manage the transactions;
You are responsible for all fasteners/hooks/anchors/wire/non-staining adhesives and all repairs on walls including paint (supplied by the café); your hangers are appropriate and match the needs of the weight of your work – meaning heavy art needs proper drywall hangers.
You understand that having your at the Elm Café is at your own risk;
You agree to provide:
a 250 word artists statement which includes your contact information, laminated or framed under 11” X 17” ;
a 50 word description of your art show and title of the show for website advertising;
a business cards in a stand up holder;
a small guest book with a pen;
a red adhesive dots to indicate sold pieces
a small description plate (minimum 2.5 inches X 5 inches) describing each of your art pieces-- printed professionally;

Your art installation/de-installation will take place as agreed upon in writing by the Café/SPAF.
