2020 Back Forty Farms CSA Membership Information
To be determined (will be a 3-4 hour window)
For our CSA Members:
We will be providing organically grown produce each week starting July and ending in early October. All of our produce is hand-picked, chilled, and displayed for you each week. We have a wide variety of produce throughout the year including countless varieties of tomato, lettuce, peppers, squash, corn, onions, beets, herbs, melons, zucchinni, kale, chard, jalepenos, potatoe, cucumber, and more.
Due to weather, extreme heat, pests, and other unccontrollable things nature brings to us, volume and availability may vary.
Lisa will also be growing herbs, creating spice blends, and other items that when available, will be added to your share. She has tremendous knowledge and talent for cooking, so ask her about her favorite recipes and tips and tricks.
Once the pickup day and time is determined, you are responsible for pickiing up your share. If you are unable to pick it up for any reason, please have a neighbor, friend, or someone pick it up for you. We cannot "hold" or keep your share, so any share not picked up will be donated to a family in need.
Each week we post what will be available for your that week so we strongly encourage you to like our FaceBook page, which can be found here.
You can also sign up for our newsletter that is sent out periodically which includes updates on the farm, events, recipes, fun facts, pictures, and more.
Lastly, you can get updates super quick and easy by joining our VIP Text Club. Just text "back40farms" to 66599. Don't use the quotes. :-)
Payment must be made in full by May 20, 2020. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required within 7 days of signing up. If deposit is not received the share will be made available to others, due to high demand and limited shares offered.
We would love to have your kids come out as we have lots of animals for them to see and learn about. We have chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, and horses. Our horses are equine horses that are used for NeuroBalanced. We just ask that they are supervised.
Due to the nature of our farm and having animals (many free-ranging) we don't allow pets to be brought on our farm. Leave them at home to enjoy cooler weather inside.
