THE SERVICE AGREEMENT
Each Poop Troop (Here after “PT”) Client hereby agrees to the following upon acceptance of, use of or payment for our PT dog waste clean up services:
⦁ AGGRESSIVE ANIMALS: PT will work with friendly animals in the yard; however, we will NOT work around aggressive animals. It is the clients responsibility to let PT know the temperament of your dog. If your dog can be agressive we request your dog be kept inside or securely kept away from the scooping area. If we cannot access your yard or complete a clean up due to an aggressive animal, you will be notified and charged for the visit. On your scheduled day, please look outside and make sure PT employees are not in your yard before letting your aggressive dog outside. You are responsible for the safety of your dog. You also agree to take responsibility should your dog attack and injure anyone affiliated with PT during the clean up.
⦁ ACCESS: please be sure the gate or point of entry is free of any obstructions (ie: dogs, padlocks, lawn furniture) and the gate is unlocked. If we cannot access your yard, you will be notified and charged for the visit.
⦁ DISINFECTANT: PT agrees to disinfect all hands, shoes, and tools after each visit to help maintain a safe environment for your and your animal by trying to prevent the spreading of bacteria or disease from yard to yard. PT will not be held responsible for any illness your Dog could acquire from bacteria or disease that could have possibly be spread from yard to yard.
⦁ DIARRHEA & LOOSE STOOL: PT will try their best to scoop diarrhea or loose stools, but will not be held accountable for any loose stools left behind after our efforts to pick up, and you will still be charged for services. You may choose to allow the stool to dry during the current week and be collected at no additional fee the following week. Diarrhea and loose stool significantly increase the time needed to scrape up and gather, extra time to clean our tools and shoes, plus disinfect. Loose stools in dogs is considered a health concern, we will do our best to advise you if we observe loose stools during our visit.
⦁ ACCESS TO WATER: PT may need access to water from an outdoor hose or faucet to clean loose stools from, decks, rocks, cement, and PT equipment or to mix sanitizing, disinfecting and deodorizing solutions while on site at your home. Please allow access to outdoor hoses or faucets.
⦁ DISPOSAL OF DOG WASTE: PT will dispose of the dog waste collected in a garbage bag which will then be placed in your curbside waste bin. Please insure we have access to your curbside waste bin. If there is not access to the curbside waste bin, you can provide a bucket or an alternative waste bin, but then you will be responsible for transferring the waste bag into your curbside waste bin.
⦁ APPOINTMENT TIMES: PT does not accept time-specific or day-specific requests, as we cannot guarantee specific times accurately. Appointments will be booked on a specific day of the week, in which we will be in your area, and will be completed sometime between dawn and dusk on the day scheduled.
⦁ LOCKS: PT will not be responsible for any keys or locks belonging to the client. A combination lock or lock box may be made available by the client at the client's expense, for access, if control access is required, and only if agreed upon mutually by both parties.
