At Knox College students are required to enroll in a residential meal plan unless the student lives in an off-campus residence. Exceptions to this rule are rarely granted, and much be requested trhough the submission of this appeal form. Submission of this form does not qurantee a release from the college meal plan.
Please note that documentation is required for the appeal process. After submission of this form you will recieve an email with instruction on how to submit documentation.
After complete documentation is received, you will be contacted within five (5) business days with a finding concerning your appeal.
At the end of this form you will be asked to select one of the following reasons for your petition:
- I require, by reason of a disability or medical necessity, a dining option which cannot be provided by Knox College. Will require documentation from the Office of Disability Support Services.
- I require, for religious reasons, a dining option which cannot be provided by Knox College. Will require an endorsement from the Director of Spiritual Life.
- I am student teaching and will not be on campus for the majority of the meal periods. Will require confirmation from the education department.
