OVERVIEW
We value your relationship with Mongabay and strive to maintain open communications with each other. Though we recognize that at times, there may be disputes or complaints which happen internally in the workplace, and after having such discussions and if unresolved, you may submit your complaint in writing by completing this form to the best of your ability so that we may move forward with the appropriate next steps. This is optional and only if you do not feel comfortable verbally addressing this issue with your direct manager, other supervisors/managers, and/or HR.
Mongabay is obligated to investigate any complaints that are in violation of company policy and do not tolerate false accusations.
In order to address this situation, your complaint should be as accurate and detailed as possible. You will be asked to provide the details of the incident(s) that occurred and the names of all individuals involved and any witnesses. Mongabay will treat this written complaint as the full and complete complaint unless you come forward with any additional information during the investigation.
Upon receipt of a completed Staff Complaint form, Maichue will review the submission and forward the form to the appropriate direct manager and/or the CEO. In any event, the Board of Directors may be involved at any point to help carry out the investigation; only on a needed basis.
The individuals will take appropriate and immediate action in response to the complaint(s) and undertake an effective, thorough, and objective investigation of the allegations upon receipt of a complaint. All complaints will be investigated and kept confidential. Information obtained during the complaint procedure and investigation will only be shared with those individuals on a need-to-know basis or as required by law. The CEO, direct manager, and HR will advise all parties concerned of the results of the investigation.
