• Client Expectations

    I look forward to having the first session with you shortly. I want to share with you my thoughts and hopes for our virtual training sessions and clarify that the videos, recordings, and course materials are for your personal use only.

    How I imagine the purpose of our sessions:

    • These session are an opportunity for you to:
      • Ask questions about any tools or concepts in the materials.
      • Discuss current and past organizational dynamics and situations in order to apply the tools, skills, and concepts from the course.
      • Deepen your capacity to respond effectively as a change agent in the workplace.
    • This is a space for self-exploration and for you to make meaning, choices, and take action as you see fit.
      • You get to choose what you do with anything we discuss.
      • I have no attachment or expectations.
      • You are the captain of your ship and know best what you need.

    As the facilitator and coach, you can expect me to:

    1. Be a partner in applying the tools, skills and concepts from these materials in your daily life.
    2. Co-create a learning container where you can trust yourself, choose bravery, and explore new ways to respond in the moment and prepare to navigate organizational dynamics and situations more effectively.
    3. Listen thoughtfully and share insights, ask questions, and share stories to deepen understanding and awareness.
    4. Respect our agreements for confidentiality.
    5. Help broaden your belief of what is possible; identify new perspectives and insights.
    6. Share any feedback, impact or insights; serve as a sounding board for you.
    7. Support you in identifying and working towards your goals and intentions.

    I believe this Virtual Course will be most beneficial if you:

    1. Are increasingly honest with yourself, with me and the other participants.
    2. Take responsibility for making the most of this development process and for creating positive results for yourself.
    3. Be open to my wonderings and noticings, and keep me honestly informed as to what is and is not working for you.
    4. Take notes during the sessions; complete any homework we agree to before the next session.
    5. You are responsible for making your own decisions and working to achieve your intentions and hoped for results.
    6. You agree not to hold me, or any company I am affiliated with, liable for any outcomes, resulting directly or indirectly from the development process.
    7. Attend all virtual trainings (or watch the recording, if you have to miss one), as people experience greater progress from the cumulative impact of the work over time.

    License of this Video Content, Workbook, Worksheets, and digital versions of any books, are for the purchaser’s sole personal use only. License does not grant the right for use in any educational materials and/or training programs.   • Coaching Terms

    Confidentiality: As your facilitator and coach, I agree to keep all of our communication, including the fact that you are my client, absolutely confidential except as follows:

    • If I am required by law to disclose that you are my client or the content of our conversations.
    • If you tell me that you are currently or intend to harm another person or yourself, I will break our confidentiality and I may report this to your local law enforcement agency or social services, without informing you.
    • If you tell me that you have previously physically abused someone, I may report that abuse to a social service agency.

    What Coaching Is/Is Not:

    • "Coaching" is a Professional-Client relationship you have with your coach that is designed to facilitate and support your learning using the content of the materials in this course.
    • Coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve all areas of your life, including work, health, relationships, self-care and healing practice. How you decide to implement these tools, insights and concepts into your life is exclusively your responsibility.
    • Coaching services are designed to help you apply the concepts and tools in these materials in your daily life; they are not in any way to be construed as or a replacement for psychotherapy/psychiatry, legal counsel, business, or medical advice. You may want to seek support from a variety of types of resources, and if I believe you might benefit from assistance from these types of specialists, I will share my thoughts with you.
    • As a client, I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for my physical, mental and emotional well-being during this Master Class, including my choices and decisions. I am aware that I can choose to discontinue this course at any time.
    • If you are currently in therapy or otherwise under the care of a mental health professional, I expect that you will consult with the mental health care provider regarding the advisability of taking this Master Class and focusing on this course material.
