Tell us what your dreams are made of!
We're looking to hear about and share your journeys with taiko that reflect your visions and dreams for yourself and the taiko community at-large. Let us know who you are and what you're all about! Has your vision been recently achieved in a concert or event? Is there a project you're currently working on? Is there something you'd like the taiko community know that can help your dream come true? Follow the instructions below so we can share your Taiko Vision with the Taiko Community on October 20th.
Please submit a short clip (no more than 5 minutes) to share your take on “Taiko Vision: Dream Out Loud!” Below are some ideas, but we are open to airing anything you would like to share with the taiko community. Don't hold back!
Technology incorporated with Taiko
Taiko in popular culture
Innovative costumes used
New ways to teach taiko
A different approach to practicing taiko
We've had some requests to collect specialty segments from around the globe. Can you make our dreams come true and submit a video about one of these topics speaks to you?
Cooking Segments: How do you feed your taiko troupe?
Taiko Mobiles: How do you fit all that equipment into one vehicle? If you've got a personal car that you bought just to accommodate your taiko life, or a van that fits way more than it should, we want to know how you do it.
Please submit a performance clip (no more than 10 minutes). In the spirit of our theme this year, we would love to see submission videos of performances that hold a particularly special meaning to you, whether that's an anniversary, the fulfillment of a long-term project, or something that reflects how you have been inspired by taiko.
Please submit your segments or performance by October 15th.
If you have any questions or concerns, contact Taikothon chair Sarah Gilbert at email@example.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
