If your score is 65 or above you are eligible to lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) for Skilled Independent (subclass 189), State Nominated (subclass 190) and Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa. However, submitting an EOI does not guarantee an invitation to apply for a skilled visa. The points the invitations are issued on may depend on levels of demand and occupational ceilings. Subclass 190 and subclass 491 may have other criteria that applicants are required to meet to be eligible for state nomination or sponsorship by an eligible relative. Therefore it is important to understand all the requirements prior to lodging an EOI.
