Eligibility and Expectations

Open to artists 18+

Artists are actively working in the discipline of visual, sound, literary, or performance art

Individual artists and collectives can apply

Artists/Collective will pitch/storytell to a live audience about their project in 7 minutes or less. Pitches are live storytelling and can be executed in a short performance, reading,demonstration, or narrative format.

Projects can be new or active, but must have a clear start and completion date withen 6 months of the micro-grant night.

Micro-Grant Program Award Details

On a regular basis, the micro-grant nights will be held.

Attendance/Ticket Sales detrmines the monetary size of that night's "Micro-Grant Pot" to be split among participants. There is no minimum or maximum size of a "pot" or grant size.

Documentation of funded project by 3RDSPACE

This is a non-equity micro-grant.

First crowd-funded grant awarded in November of 2019

Events will be recorded and uploaded onto 3RDSPACE website and shared via social media

General Application Details

Applications will be open throughout 2019 on a rolling basis for recipients.

Provide CV; a portfolio documenting images of work; and a letter of purpose which states how the micro-grant will influence your practice
