Welcome to our 2019-2020 season! We are looking forward to a great season of music and events. In order for HYS to produce our concerts, we rely heavily on family support. Parent volunteers are crucial to our survival, as your help enables us to keep our staffing costs down. We are asking every Academy String family to volunteer for at least one opportunity below. Parents who sign up will be contacted by email approximately two weeks prior to the event with more information about report times and places. If you signed up but do not hear from us, it means we have filled our needs, however, we may call you for future opportunities.

4:00 - 7:00 pm - Move Equipment, Music Stand, Auction Items
11/3/19 (Sunday) Na Mele Gala Fundraiser, Hilton Hawaiian Village

9:00 am - 10:30 am - percussion movement and staging 3:30 pm - Reception table, Parking validation 3:30 pm - General event help 3:30 pm - Silent Auction runner 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm - Stage breakdown, percussion load-out
12/14/19 (Saturday) Concert, Kaimuki High School Auditorium

Backstage chaperone (2-3 per group) Pass out programs, sell merchandise Concert Emcee Clean-up
