When your construction project requires an organization to move to a new location, changes come from many avenues. Moving is a critical component in most facilities’ projects and may be required at the beginning of a plan to vacate space for improvements, or at the end of each construction phase to support a multi-phased build-out. Whether your relocation is a stand-alone initiative, or you are consolidating multiple sites, the project will require dedicated resources and consume more time than initially anticipated.

This educational seminar will provide attendees valuable information with data-driven results to support your relocation project and ensure quick vacancy/re-occupation of space within a conservative timeframe.

About Your Presenter:

Christine M. Vargas is president and founder of Vargas Associates, and has more than 25 years of design and project management experience with a portfolio that includes many high-profile healthcare, public safety, corporate and education projects in the Western and Upstate New York areas.

Collaboratively working with leaders within various communities, Christine sits on the Dean’s Advisory Committee at the Kate Gleason School of Engineering of Rochester Institute of Technology and is an executive board member of the Rochester Downtown Development Corporation. In addition, she is a member of the Women's Business Center at Canisius College and the Construction Exchange of Buffalo & WNY.

Christine is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and holds a national LEED-AP certification by the United States Green Building Council.
