  • Fiesta Days Children's Parade

    Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.

Individuals, family, church or neighborhood groups are welcome to participate in the Parade. Please no commercial entries (businesses should apply in the Fiesta Days Grand Parade). We encourage you to decorate your entry as Miss Spanish Fork and her royalty will be judging the entries. Categories are Most Creative, Originality, and Best use of Fiesta Days theme “Igniting Traditions, Sparking Memories".

The first thousand children who participate in the Parade will be given a ticket for one free ride at the Carnival (to be used July 19, 21-24). First, second, and third place winners will be announced right after the completion of the parade on the City Park Stage. These winners will be invited to participate in the Grand Parade on July 24. This is an invitation, not a requirement.

The Parade starts at Park School (700 East Center Street), travels west on Center Street to the City Park, then turns south on 100 East and ends prior to the intersection of 100 East and 100 South.

Please move forward towards Main Street at the end of the parade so other entries behind you have room at the end.

Entries will receive an email prior to the parade with your line up number, your staging location, and to verify the number of kids with your entry for your carnival ride ticket. You will receive your carnival tickets at check in when you pick up your entry number. If you have any extra carnival tickets, please return them to a Fiesta Days volunteer. If you are short tickets, please notify a Fiesta Days volunteer so we can provide you with more tickets.

  • We agree to the following:

    1. SUPERVISION: We will provide adequate supervision for our children by providing a minimum of two (2) adults with our entry.
    2. PARTICIPANT SAFETY: No child will be allowed to ride in a motorized vehicle (4-wheeler or side-by-side). NO PICKUP TRUCKS, CARS, or SEMI's are allowed in the parade (only OHV's pulling trailers if needed). No person(s) will be allowed to get out or get on a float, trailer, or vehicle during the parade once the parade starts. The Fiesta Days Committee urges extra adult supervision by placing one adult at the axel of any vehicle and/or trailer for participant safety. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure the safety of all participants in their entry.
    3. ANIMALS: Animals are not allowed in the Parade.
    4. SPECTATOR SAFETY: There will be zero tolerance for any projectile (candy, objects, water, fireworks, etc.) thrown. Any water shooting devices (blasters, cannons, squirt guns, water balloons, etc.) are prohibited. If your entry decides to pass out candy, you may do so by walking the white fog line and handing candy to spectators.
    5. RIGHT OF TERMINATION: I understand that Spanish Fork City reserves the right to restrict or reject our entry from participation in the parade without liability to Spanish Fork City, regardless of the cost or inconvenience to our entry. Any staff member or designee of Spanish Fork City may exercise this right at any point in time, before or during the parade, for any reason considered to be inconsistent with the goals, values, and objectives of Fiesta Days.
    6. INDEMNIFICATION: As condition of being a participant in the parade, I agree to assume full responsibility for my conduct and the conduct and activities of our entry and to indemnify and hold Fiesta Days and Spanish Fork City, its Elected Officials, Appointed Officials, Employees, Agents and Volunteers, harmless from any liability, claim, loss or expense (including attorney's fees) caused by or arising from (a) any conduct or negligence by me or any person or part of our entry that causes, harm, damage, or injury to myself or others, (b) any breach or omission of my representations or warranties, (c) any claim by my employee, subcontractor or supplier or (d) any infringement or violation by me of the rights of others.
    7. VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY NOTICE: Spanish Fork City records all city events and broadcasts them on Spanish Fork 17, Spanish Fork YouTube, and city social media pages. Spanish Fork City also takes photographs at each event and uses them for promoting and advertising. By registering for events, you understand and consent to your image and sound being included in video, audio, or photography taken by Spanish Fork City and that such video, audio, or photography may be published on television, YouTube, and social media.
