If I adopt from Feline Lifeline, I agree that the adopted feline will be kept as my household pet, provided with vet care as needed, spayed or neutered as soon as old enough if adopted as an unaltered kitten*, and be returned to Feline Lifeline if I can no longer keep the feline.

By clicking the submit button, I understand that if I no longer want or can no longer care for my adopted pet, I agree to notify Feline Lifeline and provide a 14-day period to allow Feline Lifeline to make arrangements for my pet to be taken back into rescue.
By clicking the submit button, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Feline Lifeline against any losses, lawsuits, claims, injury, damages incurred by me or to any persons or property by my adopted pet, once adoption has been completed.

By clicking the submit button, I understand that if I no longer want my pet, or am no longer able to care for my adopted pet, I will be directed to surrender my pet to Feline Lifeline and provide transport to where Feline Lifeline deems appropriate.

*NOTE: Pursuant to S.C. Code of Laws Title 47, Article 8, “A person acquiring an animal from a shelter, an agency, a society, or a refuge which is not sterile at the time of acquisition shall submit to the shelter, agency, society, or refuge a signed statement from the licensed veterinarian performing the sterilization required by subsection (A) within seven days after sterilization attesting that the sterilization has been performed.” Failure to comply forfeits ownership and makes you liable for a $200 fee for breech of contract.
