Founded in 2012, Centennial State Ballet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and Youth Ballet Company located in Longmont, Colorado and serving the Northern Colorado community.
Centennial State Ballet performances feature live musical accompaniment, full sets, costumes, props, and lighting. Dancers experience the joy of movement and on-stage performance as early as age 5 through their high school years.
Our mission is simply stated, but it is not simple to achieve: We strive to enliven and elevate the human spirit by means of dance, specifically the perfect form of dance known as ballet.
We are located in Longmont, Colorado and celebrate the art of dance through our performances and outreach events each season. Our 2019 – 2020 performance season features Around the World in 80 Days, The Nutcracker, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. All performances feature live music.
Purpose: To identify youth age five to eighteen with the desire and ability to perform on stage who are in need of financial assistance in order to participate in our performance program.
Award: One or more individuals selected from the pool of qualified applicants will be awarded scholarships for financial assistance during the Spring 2020 performance season up to $200.00 which will be applied to Performance Fees for Gala Performance featuring The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and related Spring events.
