  • Welcome to the annual 35W@94: Downtown to Crosstown Project engagement survey. Thank you in advance for taking time to complete this survey! Your feedback will be used to help inform our project team, as well as future MnDOT projects.

    Quick reference before you take the survey: 35W@94 is a 2.5 mile stretch of I-35W between 43rd St. and 15th St. in Minneapolis. See the map below for more information.

  • Project Understanding

  • There area lot of improvements being made along the corridor as part of this project! Help us understand how much you know about the following improvements by checking “Yes, I know about this” or “I didn't, but I do now" for each.

  • A new transit station at Lake Street and Metro Transit Orange

  • Motorists will have their own lane from NB I-35 to WB I-94

  • Improved crossings and access for walkers and bikers, including two wider and more accessible pedestrian bridges

  • Reduced congestion by improving MnPASS lanes

  • Direct bike and pedestrian access from the new Lake Street transit station to Midtown Greenway, called the Green Crescent

  • Lake Street improvements (new pavement, new sidewalks, etc.)

  • New access ramps from Southbound I-35 to Lake Street and Northbound I-35W to 28th street
