This award is intended to recognize student affairs professionals who have demonstrated exceptional professional standards and achievements in fraternity and sorority advising in the southeastern region during the past year.
Criteria for the nominee include: full-time service to the fraternity and sorority advisement profession through campus impact, employment in fraternity advisement on a campus in the SGLA region at the time of nomination, and completion of this official application. The application is limited to no more than three (3) recommendations from students, colleagues or supervisors.
Note: The SGLA Executive Director, Associate Executive Director, and Assistant Executive Directors are not eligible for nomination during the period(s) in which they hold their positions.
An advisor may only win the award once.
One recipient shall be recognized annually.
Graduate students or interns are ineligible for this award.
