2020 Continuing Education Challenge Grant Application

The SALS Board of Trustees is dedicated to the promotion of lifelong learning and professional development. In pursuit of these goals, the Board encourages member library staff and board members’ participation in professional networks, conferences, and seminars.

To more actively support these goals, the SALS Board of Trustees has initiated a $10,000 competitive grant program to enable member library staff and board members to attend professional conferences, workshops, and trainings that will support their growth and development as library leaders.

DEADLINE: Applications will be accepted four times during the 2020 grant cycle:
- December 27, 2019
- February 29, 2020
- May 29, 2020
- October 2, 2020
Grant Amount: SALS will offer Continuing Education Challenge Grants of up to $1,000 per applicant in 2020.
