Washing 

Wash hair every 2-6 days to keep shampoo from stripping the extensions (The longer in between washes the better)

Make sure you are using sulphate free and paraben free products

Brush through your hair before you get into the shower

Section hair in quadrants while washing, lift up each row to gently wash underneath

Make sure to rinse out ALL product

Use luke warm to cool water on extensions, always rinse downwards

use detangling spray and/or primer to reduce the pull on your natural hair

Start at the ends, brush your way up.

Brushing is easier when your extensions are 100% dry

Blowdry

Use low to medium heat

Rough dry with your hands until 90% dry, then smooth with your roundbrush to reduce shedding or crawling.

Section off per row and smooth through the rest of your hair with a round brush-working it down.

Make sure there is no tangling or matting. DO NOT IGNORE MATTING

Curling + Styling

Make sure your hair is 100% dry before going in to style

Smoothing will correct tangling

Do not use high heat

let curls sit before combing them out to create a longer lasting style

Braiding: split your hair down the middle and create two loose braids

Yes! 

If it's cardio-plan your wash days on those days

If you wash your extensions everyday, the hair wont last as long 

try every other day or just a "quick wash"

 

Can I wear NBR in a pony without them showing?

YES! you can wear your hair up.

NBR is placed in a horseshoe parting to follow the natural growth pattern of your hair

Make sure you flip your head upside down + get the hair all the same direction 

Use a wet brush if necessary to smooth your natural hair + secure with a hairtie or invisibobble.

 

Can I swim with NBR?

Yes! 

Mind you, the more often you are in the water, the sooner you will be replacing your hair.

Leave it down or place in low pony

Carry a detangler + wetbrush with you to use afterwards.

 

Which products do I avoid?

Sunscreen: Avoid direct contact with sunscreen, it turns extensions pink/orange colors

Hair Masks: Be very conservative with masks + conditioners. ONLY USE AS NEEDED

It can cause build up and cause the extensions to break down

For Fine Sleek hair, Maintenance is every 4-6 weeks.

For course hair, maintenance is every 6-8 weeks.

Typically you will need to replace the hair 4-9months

Blondes tends to be more processed and has less longevity
