The programs involve registration for online lessons, starting in Feb-April 2026, or as soon as everyone has received their building equipment. Students who start after April 2026 will be doing two classes per week until they've caught up with the scheduled classes. Please take note that the registration fee/deposit pays for the imported building kit that will be repurchased when learner has completed course or choses to suspend classes. Building kits are shipped to your nearest PUDO outlet. Young Engineers will communicate lesson content weekly in advance via Whatsapp, and provide building codes for the weekly lessons to minimise internet time required for the lessons. This allows students to build, play and upgrade the models at their own leisure during the week prior to attending the online lessons at scheduled times. Parents should be involved in communicating the lessons to students and assist with the building of models at home, if required. Online Microsoft Teams lessons are attended to go through the lesson content and allow the students to demonstrate their models and understand & communicate the lesson in their own words. Attendance of the online lessons are not compulsory, but in the event of missed classes, photos and videos of the students, explaining the model in their own words must be sent via WhatsApp to qualify for certificates once the course is completed. No credit, refund or extra lessons will be given if (i) internet connectivity is lost, interrupted or due to load shedding or any other reason outside Young Engineers control (ii) child is absent from scheduled classes for whatever reason. However, we do try to accommodate missed lessons as far as possible. THE ACCOUNT IS PAYABLE IN ADVANCE - The building kit will only be ordered and shipped once full registration payment is received. Monthly payments must be made before the 3rd of the month. Lessons and building codes may be withheld where accounts are in arrears and only sent once the account is up to date. Cancellation may be sent in writing with a month's notice, but at least 50% of the online lesson fees will be due once the program starts. Interest may be charged for overdue accounts. 1. Definitions: “customer”: means the customer reflected on the order form; “set”: means the Young Engineers Home Edition Equipment Set suitable for online classes; “seller”: Young Engineers Mpumalanga Central franchise; “these terms and conditions”: means these terms and conditions of sale, the contents of the customer’s orders and any written acceptance of the customer’s orders by the seller. 2.    Delivery of Set: Normal delivery time, from when payment received into our account is 4-8 weeks.  3.    Cool off Period: Customer has the right to cancel the order within 5 business days from placing the order.  Customer will be entitled to a full refund of any amount already paid to the seller before building kits are ordered.  4.    Returns: 4.1. Unwanted Set You can return an unwanted Set, within 7 days after receiving it, to the seller, provided:·  it is still in the original packaging;·  it is undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached;·  it is not missing any parts; Note:R200.00 handling fee will be charged by the seller for any unwanted returns  4.2. Set damaged on delivery: Should a set be damaged or missing any parts at the time of delivery/collection, please notify the seller within 7 days of such delivery / collection by emailing the seller. Seller will determine how the damaged parts will be replaced.  4.3. Defective equipment: We do our best to ensure that the set we deliver to you are of a high quality and in good working order and without defects. What is a defect? A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a set or any characteristic of a set,·  Any defective equipment will be replaced by the seller at no additional cost·  The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a replacement under this section: a) faults resulting from normal wear and tear; b) damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the set; c) damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the set; d) damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the set; e) where the specifications of a set, although accurately described on the order form and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you; e) once course is completed or cancelled kits are returned on sellers cost and buyer will be refunded to whatever state kit has been received.
