Mantra Studio Policy & Guidelines
Instructors must arrive at least 15 minutes before the class starts. This means, that if class starts at 9:30, the latest an instructor can open the door is 9:20. New clients are asked to show 20 minutes before class for intro.
All clients attending must be checked against Mind Body System.
No clients can attend the class unless a) they have sessions to be used in their Mantra account or provide payment before the class. This includes FRIENDS or FAMILY of instructors and is in effect even if there are available machines.
Instructor must know how to 1) add a new client to Mind Body, charge for classes/ sessions or toe socks and book into the class. If instructor does not have time to process payment prior to class, he/she can write down the card number, including security code and billing zip code, and process it after the class or email the owner with the name of the client and what is the charge for. Always take client phone number and email.
There is an 8hr cancellation policy. Only owner can override that policy on case-by-case basis. If an unlimited client does not show, instructor must check a box in the system so that administrator/owner can charge the client $15.
Instructors must know mantra class fees and packages offered, which are also listed on www.mantrafitness.com. Instructors are not allowed to discount classes or make any special arrangements outside of published mantra pricing schedule.
All cash is kept in money bag and balanced weekly.
All new clients that are not registered in the system must be given a Client Intake form and waiver to sign.
All new clients must be given a brief intro to the Megaformer prior to class for safety and insurance.
Clients must wear non-slip socks or socks at all times.
Instructors are encouraged to wear Mantra apparel while teaching class and must look athletic professional at ALL times.
Instructors are expected to attend quarterly trainer meeting in addition to quarterly community outreach events
Instructors agree to promote Mantra classes through Social Media channels FB and Instagram at least 1x per week.
Instructors are expected to keep classes full and Instructor understands they may be taken off the schedule at owner’s discretion if classes are not filling.
Classes are taught ONLY according to Lagree Fitness and with the stop clock
If instructor cannot teach the class on the schedule, he/she is responsible for getting a sub amongst other Mantra Lagree Certified instructors. While it is OK to ask for subs due to sickness or vacation, If instructor is regularly asking others to sub – she/he will taken off the schedule.
Machine safety: It is instructor responsibility to check that all springs are hooked under, and straps/weights put away before and after each class. Instructors are responsible for safety of the class. If instructor notices some breakage of straps/handles bars, etc. he/she must alert the owner/manager ASAP.
If front desk staff is not available. Instructor should insure after each class or shift that trash cans are empty, cups are full, water is stocked, and paper towels, toilet paper are full, before leaving the studio.
Sound system. Make sure it is always off when you leave.
Air conditioning. Set Air to 73 during class and return to 78 when leaving.
Cameras in the studio are always on and recording.
Privates – all privates must be reported back to the owner/manager, charged thru mantra appointment system.
Instructors should regularly take each other classes and mare expected to take at least 1 class per week.
Drinking during class is OK. Eating, keeping food visible to clients, or chewing gum, texting is not.
Pay is scheduled on 1st and 16th of each month via direct deposit which can take anywhere from 3-7 business days to be deposited in instructors bank account.
Wipes should be passed out to clients during the last exercise so they may wipe down machine after each use. Kindly insist clients wipe all areas of the machine including handles and red bars that they touch.
If clients want to purchase water you can take cash or credit card. Cash should be placed in the cash bag.
All Injuries must be reported IMMEDIATELY to the owner and you must fill out an Incident Report located at the front desk.
