  • Are you applying via the Early Entry Program (EEP)? Applications must be received for: Offer Round 1 - lodge audition by Monday 26th of August 2024. Offer Round 2 - lodge audition by Monday 9th of September 2024. Offer Round 3 - lodge audition by Monday 23rd of September 2024. *Note: LIVE Auditions are NOT an option for EEP applicants.

    SECTION THREE – Submission Option

  • Select the submission option that best reflects your creative practice.*
    • Performance Audition - live audition or video submission demonstrating instrumental, vocal, ensemble, or other performance skills. If selecting Performance Audition, please indicate your preferred format:
      • Live in-person audition
      • Online video submission
    • Creative Music Portfolio - portfolio of original creative work such as songs, compositions, music productions, recordings, sound design, electronic music, creative technologies, or related projects, accompanied by a short video statement.
    • Creative and Performing Arts Portfolio - portfolio of creative and performing arts work such as performance-making, theatre, directing, stagecraft, technical production, design, or related projects, accompanied by a short video statement.

    Please provide responses to the following five questions in your own words (approximately 200–250 words each). Your responses should reflect your personal experiences, creative interests, and opinions.

    Your written responses help us learn more about you, your creative practice, and your communication skills. Please take time to review your responses and use correct spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.

    SECTION SIX – Audition and Portfolio Materials

    Please upload or provide links to the materials that support your application.

    You may submit a short Creative Portfolio, CV, résumé, or summary of your creative experience (maximum two pages, PDF or DOCX format). This may include information about performances, productions, creative projects, ensembles, training, qualifications, exhibitions, community involvement, or other relevant creative activities.

    There is no need to upload certificates or supporting documentation unless specifically requested.

    If you maintain a professional website, portfolio, or online profile, you may provide a link instead of uploading a document.

    • For Performance Audition applicants, videos should demonstrate the audition requirements outlined in the Bachelor of Music and Performing Arts Admissions, Audition and Portfolio Information webpage.
    • For Creative Music Portfolio and Creative and Performing Arts Portfolio applicants, videos may include examples of creative work, performances, productions, project documentation, presentations, and/or a short video statement.

    Video files should be hosted on an external platform such as YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, OneDrive, or a similar service. Please ensure that access permissions allow University staff to view your materials.

    Video and audio quality should be sufficient for assessors to clearly experience the submitted work. Recordings should be presented clearly and accurately represent your creative practice
