    A Mother-Daughter Weekend | 2025
  • For Moms, Daughters, Sisters & Friends, Aunts, Grandmothers: ages 11 and up

    Wyonegonic is offering a new program, Camp Strong Women. This workshop will include time for yourselves, as well as group activities and discussions. Led by Whit Ryan, program sessions will include topics surrounding courage, developing a young woman's voice and navigating the tricky social maze that all ages face today, with a special emphasis on a mother and daughter spending time together.

  • This program runs concurrently with Session 2 of Family Camp, and you will have the opportunity to partake in Family Camp activites and meals outside of the workshop-led discussions. You may be joined by other participants who are enrolled in Family Camp.

    Lodging will be shared accommodations with other mother/daughter participants. The cost below is per mother/daughter pair (2 people).

     

    $325

    This includes meals, shared lodging, activities, and the  workshop for two people (mother/daughter).

    Once this form is received, the camp office will send a billing statement in the mail. Payment by check or credit card is due on or before July 15, 2025.

  • About the facilitator:


    Whit Ryan has more than 40 years of experience in camping. She served as Director of Staff Recruitment and Leadership Training at Wyonegonic with prior experience at Alford Lake Camp (ME) and Waukeela Camp (NH). As a career educator and founder and owner of Clearview Life Coaching, Whit focuses on working with schools, camps and individuals to build stronger citizens and communities. She designs and implements curriculums for middle school aged girls that focus on leadership development, conflict resolution, a greater sense of self, empowerment and much more. Whit has presented at both ACA National and New England conferences.
