Classroom Code of Conduct
Roberson Museum and Science Center offers a variety of classes for a variety of students, It is our goal to provide an environment where all students feel comfortable and are able to have a positive learning experience. All students have the right to learn without interference from others. Roberson employees have the authority to protect this right by creating and maintaining an environment that is conducive to learning.

When the instructor is lecturing, please pause conversations. Continued conversations or moving about the classroom during a lecture is distracting to other students and the instructor.

If you must accept or place a call during class time, please step out of the classroom.

Respect that all classes have different levels of expereince and talents. The instructor is there to help. Unless someone asks for your advice, it's not necessary for you to volunteer instructions.

Harassment of any type will not be tolerated.

Photography of individuals, their work, or demonstrations, without the express consent of the student/instructor is prohibited.

Clayworks is a working studio serving hundreds of students every year. Consequentlym clean-up is mandatory and to be completed by everyone. This helps maintain a pleasant, safe studio atmosphere.
