The Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies (ICCS) is a consortium of over 100 top American universities and colleges. It provides intensive study of Greek, Latin, Ancient History, Archaeology, and Art History to American undergraduates. The ICCS campus is on the Gianicolo Hill overlooking the historical center of the ancient city of Rome. Students spend one semester at the ICCS, usually during their Junior year. The core of the program includes extensive examination of ancient Roman sites and artifacts and study of Greek and Latin. ICCS alumni serve in the top echelons of business, academia, the arts, medicine, law, and government. Alumni credit the ICCS with providing education essential to their success in life.
