Our Commitment to You

The commitment of Sea Dog Animal Training is to provide relationship-based, positive reinforcement training. Behavior is complex and dynamic, therefore, we commit to investing a considerable amount of time, energy, and effort to teach you and your pet valuable skills that will enhance your relationship and result in more consistent and desirable behavior.

We commit to being available not only during your scheduled training session, but also inbetween as well. Your service fee includes "constant contact" via text, phone, or email. This includes questions that may arise, sending video for us to assess, and problem solving behavioral challenges.

Because we invest in quality, relationship-based training, we also ask that you make a personal commitment to maintain the training techniques to protect your investment in training and to maximize what you get out of the services we provide.

Though you can expect to see improved behavior early on, the behavior of your pet must be maintained. Without consistency, behavioral regression is highly likely and expected.

We do not guarantee behavior, but we ALWAYS guarantee our service, our commitment, and follow up as needed.

Your pet will thank you for your commitment and the time you invest will pay dividends when you foster a deeper and more quality connection with your pet!

PERSONAL COMMITMENT

I commit to continue practicing the skills my pet has learned for a minimum of 10 minutes per day.

I commit to communicate with Sea Dog Animal Training should behavioral regression or issues arise.

I commit not to use aversives like shock collars, prong collars, or other devices and strategies that inflict pain or induce fear.

I commit to encourage family members and anyone who meets my pet to only encourage appropriate behavior. If inappropriate behavior is encouraged or inadvertently reinforced, I will explain the training my pet is receiving and show how to encourage appropriate responses instead.

AGREEMENT TO HOLD HARMLESS, WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that attendance of a dog obedience training class is not without risk to myself, members of my family or guests who may attend, or my dog, because of some of the dogs to which I will be exposed may be difficult to control and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care.

I hereby waive and release Sea Dog Animal Training / seadoganimaltraining.com hereinafter referred to as the "Training Organization", its employees, officers, members and agents from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which I or my dog may suffer, including specifically, but without limitation, any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, and I expressly assume the risk of such damage or injury while attending any training session, or any other function, of the Training Organization, or while on the training grounds or the surrounding area thereto.

In consideration of and as inducement to the acceptance of my application for training membership by this Training Organization, I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless this Training Organization, its employees, officers, members and agents from any and all claims, or claims by any member of any family or any other person accompanying me to any training session or function to the Training Organization, or while on the grounds or the surrounding area thereto as a result of any action by any dog, including my own.
