Review agency Policy and Procedures on Medication Management with the trainee prior to registration for ASAM. Providers must identify the use of this training in their agency Policy and Procedures/Best Practices and have them approved by the State of Alaska.
Inform the trainees that they are required to complete this training.
Registration. The agency contact will receive the private registration link in the registration instructions. These instructions are only to be shared with your designated staff trainees. (Remind your staff trainees not to share the link to other staff members who may not be authorized to register for the training.)
This training may be presented to a group of employees but due to compliance requirements from Senior and Disability Services, each individual must still register and complete the exam on their own. This will then give access to the Certificate of Completion.
Registration instructions will be sent to the agency contact after this agreement is received.
Each trainee must be registered through The Alaska Training Cooperative Learning Management System. Registration may be completed by the trainee or by the employer/agency.
This process will require a user profile that must include the trainee’s name, verified email address, phone number, and employer/agency name.
The trainee must monitor their email for correspondence relating to this training.
Each trainee agrees to complete the online training within 90 days of registration, including the course evaluation. Completing the course requirements will generate a Certificate of Completion which the trainee can save and/or print to demonstrate completion to his or her employer/agency.
THE ALASKA TRAINING COOPERATIVE (AKTC) RESPONSIBILTIIES:
After receipt of this signed agreement, the AKTC will email the ASAM registration instructions with registration link to the agency representative.
