    • Spanish Fork City ordinance requires residents to have a minimum of one garbage can unless living in a large multi-family development with dumpsters. Recycle cans are required for the first 6 months of utility service and then become optional. Additional garbage or recycle cans are optional.  Optional cans must be kept a minimum of 6 months.

      Pricing

      Customers are billed on a per can basis. For current pricing visit: https://www.spanishfork.org/departments/finance/utility_rates.php.

      Timing

      Please allow 2-3 business days to complete your request. Service is not provided on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and some holidays. 

      If your can is missing, don't fill out this form. Please call or text us at 801-804-4500 so we can assist you. 

    • Instructions for those replacing broken cans:

      Please leave the broken can on the curb. When the City delivers a replacement can, we will mark the broken can with an orange X. The Republic Services driver will then dispose of the broken can on your next garbage/recycle day. 

      If it is determined that your can is not broken, your can will not be replaced and a service fee will be added to your utility account to pay for the cost of the trip to your location.

      Instructions for those having a can picked up:

      Please empty your can and leave it on the curb.  If the can is not empty and on the curb, we will not be able to pick it up and you will continue to be billed.

      If the can is not empty and on the curb, a service fee will be added to your utility account to pay for the cost of the trip to your location.
