Trials Information:

We are going to be holding 2020 season trials at Ipswich Netball Courts on the 1st of February, for those players who would like to play in competitive teams. If you would prefer to play for fun and social development you do not have to trial. Please select your preferences from below. Please note the following before agreeing to trial;

- Trialing to be selected in a competitive team is different from a development team.

- Should you be selected, you will be required to make certain commitments to the team that may include, but are not limited to, additional training sessions, attending carnivals, assisting Jnr teams etc

- In a competitive team equal game time amongst players is not guaranteed, what is best for the team during individual games is at the Coaches discretion as to who takes the court and their position. This may also mean that at times, players may be asked to play a postion they do not want to play.

- Game time will also be determined by skill, attitude, attendance of training sessions, and demonstrated effort.

- Selection does not guarantee placement. If commitment, effort, skill, and attitude is lacking, players can be moved between teams prior to the season commencing.

Please note that our club is committed to giving all players and their families as much support to help achieve their goals, this means fundraising throughout the year to help with purchasing equipment, coaching and player development programs, end of season break ups etc.

We are a family and reciprocity is a value of ours, each and every member is a volunteer and will do their best to contribute to developing your child’s game on the court and guide them through the season. This can only be achieved with parental support of commitment to working with coaching staff, contributing to fundraising and volunteering to do duties throughout the year e.g. canteen duty, court security etc. A many hands make light work approach is what we aim to achieve so that those that have the role to coach and manage teams can do so to the best of their ability.
