2022 SCHOLARSHIP GENERAL INFORMATION
The Lauryn Brown Foundation Pathway to Education Scholarship was established to ensure professional and personal development for continuous growth, advancement, and success through education, community involvement and mentoring. Additionally, the Pathway to Education Scholarship was created in honor of Ms. Brown's late Grandmother, Wilene Gipson-Brown.
The scholarship program provides scholarships annually to deserving students attending or soon to be attending an establishment of higher learning. Applicants sponsored by a Lauryn Brown Foundation, Inc. member are eligible for scholarships.
The Lauryn Brown Foundation Scholarship Program Committee will annually determine the number and amount of scholarship given as funding warrants. This year, The Lauryn Brown Foundation is pleased to announce that two $500 scholarships will be awarded to two Graduating High School Seniors in Gadsden, Leon, and Wakulla counties.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants for The Lauryn Brown Foundation Scholarship Program must be planning to attend an accredited post-secondary institution or technical vocational/trade school. The applicant must have a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA (4.00 scale). Both female and male students are eligible. Applicant must be a graduating Senior.
