Education and Vitality Forum: Supporting English-language minority education in Quebec

Dates: 3, 4, 5 November 2021

Time: 12:00 – 3:45 PM per day

Format: Online, with an in-person social event Nov. 5 if public health conditions permit.

Please indicate your interest in participating in the Education and Vitality Forum by filling in this form. We will ask you to indicate:
- The session format
- A preliminary title of your session (if you have one)
- The theme and sub-theme for your session
The forum program committee will review your proposal and provide feedback by mid-July.

Panel Presentation Workshop

Online workshop

Workshops will present and try out educational materials, processes, and/or best practices that address forum themes.

Format
- 50 minutes
- Facilitators present materials and/or processes
- *Essential: Includes an interactive activity involving audience participation
Note: technical support will be available at the event.

Online presentation

Presentations will share your:
- up-to-date studies
- expertise
- practical experience
- stories of success and best practices
Format
- 15/20 minute video presentation (pre-recorded) followed by a moderated discussion (provided by the organizers).
Note: technical support will be provided to help you record your presentation before the forum.

Online panel discussion

Panel discussions will involve several speakers who will share their:
- up-to-date studies
- expertise
- practical experience
- stories of success and best practices
Format
- 50 minutes
  - 30 minute panel presentations/discussion (live)
  - 20 minute discussion with audience
