OEA Lobby Days 2020

Thank you for your interest in meeting your lawmakers at the Capitol!

You can come however often you like during the session. Building a face-to-face relationship with your legislators is invaluable. For your reference, a calendar showing the legislative dates is below.

Generally, members of the OEA legislative team will lead a brief prep meeting at 9 a.m., and then everyone heads over to the Capitol. At lunchtime, members reconvene to eat lunch (provided) and debrief. Members are welcome to attend the lunch debrief even if they are unable to attend the 9 a.m. meeting.

When would you like to visit the Capitol? Here is a calendar of the 2020 legislative session for you reference.

The legislature is generally in session Monday through Thursday, with Fridays usually reserved for visiting constituents in their home districts.

Tuesdays are the most common days for members to visit, and we call them Together We're Stronger Tuesdays. OEA hosts guest speakers each Tuesday. You can read about upcoming or past speakers at okea.org.
