All class fees are charged per term. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, including for missed classes due to illness, holidays, or personal reasons. 98 cents reserves the right to make changes to class times, instructors, or class structure if required. While every effort is made to ensure a safe environment, 98 cents is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during classes. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian (or participant for adult classes) to disclose any medical conditions or injuries prior to participation. By enrolling, I agree to follow all studio rules, policies, and code of conduct as set by 98 Cents.
98 CENTS - CODE OF CONDUCT
1. ATTENDANCE ABSENCES:If a dancer is going to be absent for any reason, we need to be informed as soon as possible.This can be done easily via text 02108889792 EVENTS/ PERFORMANCES: If 3 practices are missed within one term for any reason, the dancer may be pulled from upcoming events and performances
2. COPYRIGHTCHOREOGRAPHY: All routines are ‘copyright’ and are not allowed to be taught, performed or posted up on social media without the permission of 98 Cents.USAGE OF PHOTOS AND VIDEOS: If a student or their family takes photos or videos at a practice they must request permission before they use ANY of this material in ANY way that will be open for the public to view. If you have do not wish to have your child in any media, please inform us upon registration and we will acknowledge that request.If there are any issues please let us know in writing via email team@98cents.co.nz Skool: Videos of trainings will be shared with the entire crew via Skool platform. These videos are used to practice at home and are not to be shared elsewhere without permission.
3. VENUE - Please respect the property and equipment of the space provided. We do not want any damage or harm for the facility. Please clean up if you have made a mess or inform Paul if there is anything that needs attending to. Also We have a couple No Go Zones, There is a workshop area behind closed doors in the venue that has potential to cause harm due to multiple hazards. To prevent any harm to you or your child or anyone in the facility No One Is Allowed To Enter through the workshop area. Carparks are available but are often full around 4pm please ensure your child is within the facility upon arrival as there are other hazards such as vehicles, trucks and equipment in and out of the carpark.
.4. ENROLLMENT FEES - TERM FEES: Term fees are a set price for the term depending on your class type. PAYMENT OPTIONS Full term fees are to be paid by . By arrangement only: Weekly payments via Internet Banking .MONEY OWING If weekly payments are behind by 3 weeks. On the 3rd week the dancer may not be permitted to attend training again until their account is up to date.
.6. CANCELLED TRAININGS If a training is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, usually an additional training will be added to the calendar. If this is not possible, trainings during the term may be extended to make us for the missed training
7. BEHAVIOUR / ATTIRE LANGUAGE: Bad / foul language is not permitted. BULLYING: We do not condone bullying. Any instances of bullying that we become aware of will be addressed and appropriate action taken to remedy this situation. DRESS STANDARD: Inappropriate clothing must not be worn. You will be asked to change clothes if what you’re wearing is deemed inappropriate. RESTRICTED SUBSTANCES: Alcohol and drugs are not permitted at the studio or at any of our events. Any dancer who is under the influence of any of the prohibited substances will not be permitted to train or perform and will be sent home.
8. CONTACT DETAILS - We use the contact details you provide in your enrolment process to contact you. It is your responsibility to inform us when you change your phone/cell numbers, email addresses and postal or residential addresses. We will continue to notify you using the details we have on file unless we are notified otherwise.
9. STUDIO/OFFICE - Access to the studio is only during training hours unless prior permission is given. Our usual office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday 4pm - 7pm.The office is not always manned for various reasons.
10. COMPLAINTS All complaints can be made in writing within 30 days, directly to Paul Hawaikirangi at: team@98cents.co.nz
