2026 ACA New England Camp Conference Scholarship Fund Request

ACA, New England is committeed to supporting and expanding participation at our New England Camp Conference. We want everyone to feel they are welcome and belong at our event. Our desire is for our attendees to reflect a diversity of levels of staff, backgrounds, camps, cultures, and identites.

We have established a Scholarship Fund for 2026 to make the conference more accessible to attendees who are staff of ACA Accredited/Member camps or individual ACA members. We will prioritize the following:

Camps with multiple conference attendees: We know that traveling together can help reduce travel and lodging costs, so preference will be given to requests from camps sending two or more attendees to the 2026 New England Camp Conference.
First-Time attendees: We encourage camps to bring newer members of their staff or staff members who don't normally attend the conference. Professional development for ALL levels of camp staff is important to us.

For 2026, awards will be made via reimbursement checks mailed no later than March 5, 2026 to the camp and may be put towards whichever conference-related expenses they choose.

We attempt to make all notifications within 5 business days of receiving a request. Once assistance is offered via email, applicants will then have 5 business days to register attendees for the Conference to indicate confirmation of the scholarship award. This ensures that ACA, New England has time to redistribute funds to other applicants in need if you/your colleague(s) can no longer attend.

This application is completely confidential and nothing in this application will be shared publicly. The only people who will see your answers are our internal scholarship fund review committee.
