  • Apply to become a volunteer for our Therapeutic Riding Programme

Please complete this form to apply to volunteer with the Therapeutic Riding programme at Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club (ADEC). Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to apply.

Our volunteers are an essential part of every session, walking alongside participants and horses to help create a safe, encouraging environment where confidence can grow.

Previous horse experience is required. Training in therapeutic riding practice and ongoing support are provided by our Therapeutic Riding Instructor and support team. It is a rewarding way to assist with mounted and unmounted sessions, be part of meaningful moments, meet like-minded people and see first-hand the difference horses can make.

      1. Consent and Scope
Based on the selections made in this Form, I voluntarily consent to ADEC collecting, recording, storing, reproducing, editing, publishing and using my name, image, likeness, voice, statements, quotations, photographs, video footage, audio recordings and, where applicable, my horse’s name and images or recordings featuring my horse (collectively, the “Material”). ADEC may use only those elements and media channels for which I have selected “Yes” in this Form.

      2. Permitted Purposes
ADEC may use the Material for the purpose of documenting, reporting on, publicising and promoting ADEC and its activities, services and events, including through the media channels expressly approved by me in this Form. The Material shall not be used to imply my endorsement of any third-party product, service or organisation without my separate written consent.

      3. Editing of the Material
I consent to ADEC cropping, resizing, captioning, translating, combining, adapting or otherwise editing the Material where reasonably necessary for the permitted purposes. ADEC shall not knowingly use or edit the Material in a manner that is misleading, defamatory, unlawful or materially prejudicial to my reputation, or that materially misrepresents any statement made by me.

      4. Intellectual Property Rights
ADEC shall own the copyright and other intellectual property rights in photographs, video footage, audio recordings and other materials created by or on behalf of ADEC, subject always to my consent preferences under this Form. To the extent that I provide any pre-existing photograph, recording, written statement or other material owned by me, I retain ownership of that material and grant ADEC a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, edit, publish and use it solely for the purposes and through the media channels approved in this Form. Nothing in this Form transfers to ADEC ownership of my name, personal information, pre-existing intellectual property rights, trademarks or confidential information.

      5. Use by Service Providers and Media
ADEC may provide the Material to its employees, authorised representatives, photographers, production companies, marketing agencies, information technology service providers and other suppliers acting on ADEC’s behalf, solely to the extent necessary for the permitted purposes. Where I have expressly consented to media contact or editorial media coverage, ADEC may also provide the relevant Material or contact details to journalists and media organisations. No recipient shall be granted any independent right to use the Material for an unrelated purpose.

      6. No Payment
I understand and agree that I will not receive any fee, royalty or other payment in consideration for the taking or recording of the Material or for ADEC’s authorised use of the Material in accordance with this Form, unless otherwise agreed with ADEC in writing.

      7. Release
To the extent permitted by applicable law, I agree not to bring any claim against ADEC arising solely from ADEC’s authorised use of the Material in accordance with this Form. This release shall not apply to any use that exceeds the consent granted under this Form or that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, fraudulent or attributable to ADEC’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

      8. Duration and Withdrawal of Consent
My consent shall remain valid unless and until I withdraw or amend it by contacting Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club at info@adec.ae. Any withdrawal or amendment shall apply to future uses of the Material after Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club has had a reasonable period to process my request. It shall not affect any lawful use made before Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club received and processed my request, nor require ADEC to recall or destroy printed materials already distributed or publications already released. Following withdrawal, ADEC shall not use the affected Material in any new publication or campaign unless such use is otherwise permitted by applicable law.

      9. Personal Data and Privacy
