  • What is ADGA Plus?
    ADGA Plus is not a separate ADGA Membership type. It is a group of premium Performance Program services in addition to annual membership that are bundled into one lower rate. The bundled services include DHIR, Linear Appraisal and DNA Marker Testing.  You can also sign up if LA is not offered in your area.  Current ADGA Membership is a prerequisite participating in ADGA Plus.

  • 2026 DHIR Application

  • Herdcodes are obtained from your testing association/lab. If you do not have a herdcode yet, start by signing up with a DHIA.

    Contact performanceprograms@adga.org for questions.

    • Herd owners must take the responsibility for knowing when a verification test is needed, making sure it is done during the current lactation, and notifying ADGA when it is completed.
    • Renewal fees must be paid at the first of each year or records be will will not be official DHIR with ADGA.
    • Publication rights of any production information are granted to ADGA for use in dairy goat research or ADGA Programs. ADGA requires Open Herd Disclosure for all DHIR participants.
    • See ADGA Guidebook for rules not covered in the NDHIA Uniform Operating Procedures and the Dairy Goat Standard Operating Procedures.
    • If OS 40 for AR, documentation of your tester training must be on file. Please scan and send your tester certification to performanceprograms@adga.org.

I understand that any fraudulent practice in feeding, care, or management of my does on test that is intended to cause, or does cause an abnormal yield of milk, butterfat, or protein, or is intended to influence rolling herd averages or CDCB genetic evaluations is a violation of NDHIA and ADGA rules. I understand that any violation of these rules may cause the rejection, or the expunging and canceling of the record; and in addition, may cause me to be denied the use of and privileges of DHIR testing.

  • 2026 Linear Appraisal Application

    Required for ADGA Plus. Trip dates are not yet scheduled - IMPORTANT - please note that an application does not guarantee that you will be included in the 2026 trips. The linear application fee is non-refundable if your herd can be accommodated in the schedule.

    ANIMAL FEES For Host Herds (Does NOT include bucks). All transport animals and bucks are $20 each. All buck fees are in addition to the minimum stop fee.

    Host herd stop fees:

    First 1-25 Adult Does .................…$400.00 fee

    Next 26-50 Adult Does ...............…$9.50 each

    Next 51+ Adult Does ..................…$6.50 each

    Transport animals.............................$20.00 each

    Bucks over 12 months.......................$20.00 each

    Young Stock will not be appraised.

     

    STOP TYPES

    Minimum Stop as Host Herd:   Total fees will be calculated based on total number of animals presented as listed in tiered pricing shown above.  Minimum stop fee is $400.    

    Transport goats to Host Herd: (Transport herds MUST receive permission from Host!) Transport animal fees are $20 per animal.  Transport animal fees will be included to offset the minimum stop fee if the host herd has less than 25 animals.

    Minimum Stop – Private/not hosting: No transport herds will be scheduled to your farm for this type of stop.  Minimum stop fee $400.

    There is no minimum number of animals required to be considered for a host or private stop.

    Special Session ($100 Application Fee):if scheduling allows. All associated fees are paid by the member.  2026 specials are scheduled October - March and depend on appraiser availability. Contact ADGA for more information if interested.

     

  • 2026 Linear Appraisal Application

  • SESSION TERMINATION: If at any time, an appraiser deems a session to be unsafe, they may terminate the session immediately. A session termination by the Appraiser will result in a forfeiture of animal fees.

  • NOTICE: Submission of a Linear Appraisal application subjects the applicant to all existing ADGA rules, procedures and protocols governing this program.  Applicants agree to strict adherence to all SOPs and directives from ADGA  Linear Appraisers, and said Appraisers, as employees and representatives of ADGA are granted discretion to terminate a linear appraisal session if the Appraiser determines that conditions are unsafe or that participants are failing to cooperate with the Appraiser’s directives.  All program participants hereby grant to ADGA the right to provide scores resulting from this program through ADGA publication media and to use scores as needed for any research or study project.  Participants grant ADGA permission to photograph animals for use in LA program purposes of high score verification, as well as developing an educational photo library.

  • Indemnification and Release: To the fullest extent permitted by law, applicant shall defend, indemnify, pay, and hold harmless ADGA, its agents, employees, representatives, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, fines, suits, actions, proceedings, fees, orders, decrees, judgments, costs and expenses, including court costs and attorney’s fees, resulting from or in connection with injury or damage to any property or person, including death, arising out of or resulting from the performance of any part or aspect of the linear appraisal program and the use or occupancy of Applicant’s property. In addition, I Agree to Abide by All ADGA Linear Appraisal Program Rules.

  • Payment must be received within 14 days of the application date. We will not retain the application after that time. The fee increases after January 31, 2026 if application and payment has not been received.

    You can add funds to your ADGA account online by credit card or paypal.

     

    The total fees (DHIR, LA and ADGA PLUS) MUST be in your online account before your enrollment can be processed.
