Jo-Anne Robinson Youth Athlete Award Nomination Form
In honour of Jo-Anne Robinson, founder of Alberta Deaf Sports Association in 1974 and beloved member of our deaf community.
An athlete, feminist, writer and leader.

This award is given to exceptional deaf & hard-of-hearing student-athletes of Alberta.
The award will consist of $250.00 per youth once in their lifetime to go towards their sport and leadership endevadors.

Criteria:
1. Must be between ages 12 and 17
2. Must be deaf and/or hard-of hearing and uses American Sign Language
3. Must be a student-athlete in good standing in school and community
4. Must be a resident of Alberta
5. Must be involved in the deaf community of Alberta
6. Open to all genders

Nominations are open to the community, with the ADSA board of directors doing the final screening and selections.

Announcement of winner to be at the ADSA Annual General Meeting.
