Cancellations must be submitted in writing via the official cancellation form to the AECT office.
Refunds will be issued based on the date the cancellation request is received, as follows:
· 45 or more days prior to the start of the convention: Refund of registration fee, less a $50 administrative fee
· 15–44 days prior to the start of the convention: Refund of registration fee, less a $90 administrative fee
· 14 days or fewer prior to the start of the convention: No refunds will be issued
Due to the administrative and financial costs incurred, no exceptions will be made to this policy.
AECT is not responsible for event disruptions or cancellations necessitated by weather conditions, transportation issues, emergencies (medical, professional, or personal), illness, or other circumstances beyond the association’s control.
