EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION NOMINATION FORMS

Nominations for the 2026 Excellence in Education Awards for the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Region are due November 15, 2025. This program is a collaboration of partners Mount St. Joseph University, Northern Kentucky University, University of Cincinnati, Xavier University, Thomas More University and The Cincinnatus Association.

AWARD DESCRIPTIONS

Outstanding Greater Cincinnati Public School Educator Award
This award recognizes an outstanding teacher in the Greater Cincinnati area who is teaching in a non-CPS public school (see separate award for those teaching in CPS).

Outstanding Greater Cincinnati Private School Educator Award
This award recognizes an outstanding teacher in the Greater Cincinnati area who is teaching at a private school.

Outstanding Northern Kentucky Public School Educator Award
This award recognizes an outstanding teacher in the Northern Kentucky area who is teaching in a public school.

Outstanding Northern Kentucky Private School Educator Award
This award recognizes an outstanding teacher in the Northern Kentucky area who is teaching at a private school.

Outstanding Student Teacher Mentor Award
This award recognizes an outstanding mentor teacher in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area.

James N. Jacobs for Outstanding Administrator in Cincinnati Public Schools Award
This award recognizes an outstanding Cincinnati Public Schools Administrator.

John E. Pepper for Outstanding Volunteer in Public Education Award
This award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated leadership and outstanding volunteer service in Cincinnati Public Schools.

Woodward Trust Distinguished Teacher in Cincinnati Public Schools Award
This award recognizes a teacher in Cincinnati Public Schools for their commitment, compassion, and perseverance in the classroom.
