Membership and insurance coverage take effect upon reception of annual membership dues* and are valid until September 1, 2026, regardless of the start date.

FULL MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident
- Reside in the province of Quebec
- Hold proof of graduation from a recognized university or music institution
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience.
*First-time membership applications must be approved by the QMTA committee. Applicants will be notified of their membership status within three business days. In the event of a declined application, the full membership fee will be refunded.
