  • The Development Forum 2025: For Us, By Us is a half-day forum bringing together artists, curators, collectors, and cultural leaders to co-create a healthier creative ecosystem.

    Practical Pathways

    This session will provide participants advise and resources on portfolios, applications & funding, and international visibility. You will be able to pick one option from below:

    • Strengthen your Portfolio with Amanda Iheme
    • Position your Work for Global Opportunities with Cité Internationale des Arts
    • Craft Stronger Applications with Goethe Institut

    The session will feature a short advice presentation from the facilitators, followed by a Q&A. Participants are encouraged to stay on for the second session to gain additional insights.

     

     12:00 PM - 13:30PM (Open To All)
    Roundtable: How do we cultivate a healthier creative ecosystem - for us, by us?
    This session will provide participants with the opportunity to identify challenges within the current arts ecosystems, and ideate on actionable solutions together. It will feature: 

    • An opening panel discussion moderated by Chinyere Obieze with Seun Alli, Josh Egesi and Oyinda Fakeye
    • Breakout discussion groups focused on collective ideation
