AWARE's emergency assistance funding is limited and not always available. Assistance is limited to once every 12 months. If assistance is provided 2 years in a row, you will not be eligible again for 3 years. Factors which may disqualify you:

1. Failure to provide accurate information and disclose all income sources
2. Failure to report all people living in your household
3. Failure to have made a utility payment at least 3 of the last 6 months
4. Failure to use your tax refund for household obligations (rent, utilities, car, etc.)
