  • What Ace swim level is your child?*

    *Many factors can affect your child's level, please answer these questions to the best of your ability and keep in mind that this is a guide based on your answers.
  • Your child is at the Tiddling Tadpole level

    Classes for 3-9 month olds introduce parent and baby to the water in a fun, safe environment. 
  • Your child is at the Fantastic Frogs level

    Classes for 9-15 month olds introduce the turn and reach response when submerged in the water.
  • Your child is at the Clever Crabs level

    Classes for 15 month - 2 year olds focused on encouraging independence in the water as babies are now able to recognise words and perform the actions for basic skills such as kicking, bubbles, and arms.
  • Your child is at the Terrific Turtles level

    Classes for 2 - 3 year olds focused on developing independence in the water as toddlers are generally able to understand and perform the basic skills of swimming with parental support.
  • Your child will be in one of our Pre-School (PS) lessons

    Our Pre-School lessons are for 3 and 4 year olds with a maximum of two children in the class with one instructor. The classes run for a duration of 20 minutes which is perfect for your little one's concentration span. We have a number of Pre-School levels available. Let's determine where your child may sit in the Pre-School lessons.
  • Your child will be in one of our School Age lessons

    Our School Age lessons are for children aged 5+ years old with a maximum of four children in the class with one instructor. The classes run for a duration of 30 and are grouped based on ability and age.  We run a maximum of two School Age classes at once, with a lane rope separating the two classes. Let's determine where your child may sit in the School Age lessons.
  • Pre-School lessons

    We offer six different levels within this age group. These next questions will help us identify where they may sit.
  • Your child is likely to be in our Super Seahorse pre-school class.

    These lessons are for 3 year-olds that may still need their parent in the water with them at the beginning. This class is designed for parents to gradually move out of the water and create independence for their little ones.

  • Your child is likely to be in our PS1: Daring Dory pre-school class.

    These lessons are perfect for beginner pre-school swimmers who are confident in the water without a parent/caregiver. They focus on water confidence, including being happy in the water, getting hair and face wet, floating with assistance, as well as moving through the water using a noodle.

  • Your child is likely to be in our PS2: Curious Crayfish pre-school class.

    These lessons are perfect for pre-school swimmers who have already developed some water confidence and swimming skills. These lessons focus on building key swimming skills further, such as independently floating, gliding, and kicking, as well as water safety skills.

  • Your child is likely to be in our PS3: Electric Eel pre-school class.

    These lessons are perfect for pre-school swimmers who have likely done some swimming previously and progressing well. These lessons focus on key swimming skills such as streamlined kicking, kicking on back, and developing freestyle swimming arms.

  • Your child is likely to be in our PS4: Flying Fish pre-school class.

    These lessons are perfect for confident pre-school swimmers who have developed basic swimming skills and are ready to start bringing together and developing Freestyle skills, introduce Backstroke arms and of course continue water safety skills.

  • Your child is likely to be in our PS5: Happy Harpuka pre-school class.

    These lessons are perfect for pre-school swimmers who are close to school age lessons and are progressing key swimming strokes. These lessons develop Backstroke, and introduce key Breaststroke skills as well as water safety skills.

  • School age lessons

    We offer multiple levels within this age group. These next questions will help us identify where they may sit.
  •  
  • Your child is likely to be in our L1: Snappy Swordfish school age class.

     These lessons are for beginners and focus on enjoying the water and building under water confidence. On the water propulsion and water safety skills are introduced.
  •  
  • Your child is likely to be in our L2: Streamline Snapper school age class.

    These lessons focus on the key swimming skills of gliding, kicking and body position with the aim of developing an independent back kick to keep our swimmers safe in the water.

  • Your child is likely to be in our L3: Radiant Rainbowfish school age class.

    These lessons develop backstroke arms which are combined with the back kick. Freestyle swimming skills also continue to be developed in preparation for breathing in the next level.

  • Your child is likely to be in our L4: Zipping Zebrafish school age class.

    These lessons focus on freestyle breathing and backstroke continues to be developed.
  •  
  • Your child is likely to be in our L5: Bubbling Boxfish school age class.

    These lessons focus on breaststroke and furthering the progression of freestyle and backstroke.
