Ann Hutchison is a dynamic leader with a strong background in community engagement and communications. With a double major B.A. in Speech Communication and Journalism & Mass Communications from the University of Northern Colorado, Ann began her career as a county extension agent for 4-H in Kansas before transitioning into marketing for a regional CPA firm.
Returning to Fort Collins in 2003, Ann joined the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce, rising through the ranks to become President & CEO in 2021. She has played a pivotal role in shaping business-friendly policies, supporting leadership programs, and driving the Chamber’s strategic vision.
Recognized as a Northern Colorado Business Report Woman of Distinction and featured in BizWest's Most Influential list, Ann's leadership has earned her numerous accolades, including the WACE Staff Member of the Year award. A Certified Association Executive (CAE) and ACCE Economic Fellow, she continues to advocate for economic growth and community advancement.
Ann lives in Fort Collins, cheering on Colorado State University sports and staying involved in local initiatives that strengthen her community.
The Adventure West Council, Scouting America, is proud to recognize Ann Hutchison as the Distinguished Citizen for her outstanding accomplishments.
The Distinguised Citizen Celebration benefits the local Adventure West Council, Scouting America serving youth in the communities of Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, and Estes Park.
