Aladdin Steel, LLC is excited to share we are expanding our Sales Department! We are seeking qualified applicants to fill the role of Account Manager.

Aladdin Steel, LLC is a well-established and growing company located in Gillespie, IL that specializes in carbon steel tubing and pipe products since 1976. Under new ownership, we pride ourselves in providing unmatched service to our customers in an ever-growing and changing market.

Aladdin Steel, LLC is guided by the following principles:

 Aladdin stocks one of the largest and most diverse inventories of steel tubing and pipe available in the United States. We have over 250,000 square feet of interior storage and carry 5,000 tons of steel tubing and pipe; including traditionally hard-to-find products. We also offer a variety of value-added services. At Aladdin Steel, we strive to provide expedient services to our customers.

Account Managers are the first line of contact for our customers. We count on them to gain the trust of customers, maintain open lines of communication and to collaborate with the sales, operations and purchasing departments to ensure product availability. The ideal candidate will be confident, well-spoken and willing to continue to learn as the markets change and grow.

 Essential Job Functions:

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to complete basic computations in relation to pipe and tube measurements
• Strong organizational clarity
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
• Strong intrapersonal skills that will allow you to build rapport with prospects and relationships with customers
• Adaptability to working with diverse people groups
• Willingness to learn new ERP systems and adjust processes to reach maximum efficiency

The ideal candidate would have the following preferred qualifications:

Education:

• Associates or Bachelors Degree focusing on Business Administration or similar field
• Proven work experience equivalent to the knowledge gained with a college degree

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Previous experience in the steel industry
• Experience building needs-based quotes, bids and sales orders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Excellent persuasive techniques and ability to direct a conversation
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills

Physical Requirements:

• Sedentary office work using computer and phones for majority of work day
• Ability to travel to meet clients and prospects
• Ability to navigate warehouse environment when necessary

Salary Range:

$17-24/hr | Anticipated starting: $17/hr with structured increases. Shift differential options available

Schedule: 

• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour unpaid lunch)
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30 minute unpaid lunch)
• Flexible scheduling available dependant on experience and location
